I found that having one or two villagers collect berries, mushrooms and such helps a lot, and having one villager working the barbecue grilling the mushrooms. A warehouse with both Raw and Cooked food storage is great to have. It is a bit tricky with food in the beginning. :)

In early game I have one villager on gathering & one assigned to cook food on the barbecue when you have the fireplace fully upgraded. As long as you routinely place gathering marker flags in good areas with a lot of food for them to harvest they will keep your stores topped up so your cook can prepare cooked food which is far more filling than the ingredients on their own. With the barbecue, I tend to set cooking tasks for about 5 of each type of mushrooms as the top two priorities and then onions and fish under it. With this you can feed about 6 villagers and yourself pretty well. Having a second gatherer after upgrading the gather pit to a hut helps increase the yield too. However, I use this as a temporary stop gap measure until you can get a fishermen's hut, with two villagers assigned to fishing. The fishermans hut unlocks after you build a upgrade your gathers pit to a hut & you build the workshop pit. Make sure you have a lot of berries spare to begin with so they can make lures out of them & give both your fishermen a fishing rod to catch fish and a knife so they can fillet them once caught. These harvested fish can then be put on the BBQ to a very stable supply of cooked food. Setting up farming would be the next best move for extra food.

@@alphaone321 before the EDIT ist Seed debugmode, the same as in this short, the huge enemybuilding is 45degree right from the minespot and easy to see. After EDIT seedname " test" is a good one to (little more to walk to the Minespot) and so i see without danger in the near.

@@Chabero74 i see, i didnt like the debug seed, i found on discord a seed called “19” If you walk east there is a large plain. And past the trees the cave, water is close enough. And you got plenty of anything you need around. Wolf then further east far enough to where its not bothersome but you can go get wolfs or meat.

ok, I tried your seed, and I dont know if your south is different from mine or the seed fcked up somehow, but I walked/ran south, even made a marker on the map, what I found was 2 ruined temples with juton blood and a bear, I ran past it and after 5min running, with wolves around it and its along way from the sea to get thatch when you need ALOT of it later on.

@nicklasvullum3242 Could it be that the game still randomizes it? I will try to be more specific or upload a short showing it once I get back from work.

The card is great. you only have to walk 30 seconds to the northwest and you will find the mine almost on the water. But building on the mountain is a bit difficult. 👍

Yea, weird that they changed the seeds like that. I started another playthrough on the debugmode seed as well. It's too good to pass up having the mine so close to spawn :D

@@BeardPhobia yeah I am on day 3 and going slow atm no companions yet, trying to level out the terrain in the area as much as possible while I slowly build around the entrance.

I was trying out different seeds to find a mine entrance, and with the seed "debugmode" (without quotations) in seed input, mine entrance is just a 30 second walk north of shipwreck.

Yea, unfortunately they rotate. Mouse over outposts on the map and look for Rogue traders. One of them will sell it.

This short was made days ago. Rogue traders are in rotation so you are a bit late. You'll just have to look around

Hmm, I wonder if they are on a rotation. Because I was visiting another island earlier, for another skin, and they did not have it. Have to investigate when game releases on the 13th :)

I have not seen any indications that it would matter. Jina have not mentioned, neither have anyone else in town, that she is my shepp after the quest. Who knows, they might add it later. I am also fully romanced to 3 people, and they don't seem to care :D

Did you become it recently. I think it took a day or two before she said yes. After completing her level 4 quest. Also, I can't complete the 4th quest with Tish due to bugged Zeki quest :)
